SERVICE DISCLAIMER

At ROUHI, we are dedicated to delivering a safe, authentic, and enjoyable henna experience. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. By booking a session with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our terms and policies, and you agree to hold ROUHI harmless from any liability arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to reactions to henna, skin irritation, or dissatisfaction with the design.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms at our sole discretion and are not obligated to notify you of these changes. Please check this site regularly for any updates. While we strive to keep our site current, it may occasionally be out of date, and we are not required to update it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of our site and will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions.

BOOKINGS, DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

Appointments can be booked through our online system here. To secure your henna session with us, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50 is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from your total service cost. The remaining balance due one day before the appointment. Payments can be made via PayNow or PayLah! only.

Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit has been received. If for any reason you need to reschedule, we kindly request at least 2 weeks’ notice. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your deposit. Changing appointment dates is subject to availability and incurs no extra charge.

For bridal or custom sessions, please note that a consultation may be required, and additional charges may apply based on the complexity of the design or the size of the party. Any additional work requested on the day must be agreed upon and paid for immediately. Upgrading packages is allowed with charges based on current rates, but no refunds are given for downgrades.

In the event of a cancellation or no-show, the deposit will not be refunded, as it helps us reserve your time and ensure we are prepared to provide the best service.

TRANSPORTATION FEES

All transportation fees are included in the packages at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated. If your service is requested after 10:00 PM, additional travel fees may apply. For events located outside our standard service area, we will inform you of any extra charges in advance. We aim to ensure clarity around transportation costs before your appointment.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICIES

At ROUHI, we understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 2 weeks’ notice. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

We reserve the right to cancel appointments not attended at the agreed time. In the case of no-show or same-day cancellations, the full session fee will be charged. If you need to reschedule due to extenuating circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, but they can be applied to future bookings if rescheduled within a reasonable time frame. For packages or large events, any changes or cancellations must be made at least 1 month in advance to avoid additional charges.

Refunds are not provided once services have been rendered, but if you are dissatisfied with your henna experience, we encourage you to reach out to discuss potential adjustments or future solutions.

In the unlikely event of a cancellation by us, every effort will be made to find a replacement henna artist; otherwise, the deposit will be fully refunded.

CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES

As a client of ROUHI, it is important that you provide accurate information and actively participate in your henna experience to ensure the best results.

  • Health & Skin Conditions: Inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities prior to booking. A patch test is recommended at least 6 weeks before your event, especially for those with sensitive skin.

  • Pre-appointment Preparation: Arrive with clean, dry skin free of oils, lotions, or makeup. We recommend exfoliating the areas to be adorned for optimal stain results. Please provide a quiet, well-lit room for at least 3 hours to ensure a smooth experience, with no interruptions during the session. Since your movements will be restricted for at least 6 hours, we strongly advise appointing a family member or friend as your assistant. If extra services for guests are required, do inform us in advance, as they are subject to availability.

  • Timeliness: You are responsible for being punctual and informing the henna artist if you are running late, as late arrivals will limit your appointment time. A $30 fee will be charged for any waiting time exceeding 15 minutes from the agreed appointment time. If waiting time exceeds 30 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment.

  • Aftercare: Follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure your henna stain develops fully and lasts longer. This includes avoiding water, excessive sweating, or applying harsh products to the stained area.

  • Respectful Behaviour: Maintain a respectful and calm environment during your session. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.

By booking with us, you agree to take responsibility for the preparation and aftercare of your henna design to ensure the best possible outcome. We reserve the right to cancel and end the session if adverse working conditions are not rectified after notification. No refunds will be issued for payments made. Adverse conditions include, but are not limited to, rude or aggressive behaviour, threats, violence, inappropriate behaviour, illegal activities, or dangerous conditions.

LIABILITY

By booking a session with ROUHI, you acknowledge and accept that while we use only safe, organic ingredients in our henna paste, we are not liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or damages that may occur during or after your session. This includes, but is not limited to, allergic reactions, skin irritation, or other complications arising from the application of henna or other products.

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns prior to your appointment. We are not responsible for any reactions resulting from non-disclosure.

While we use high-quality organic henna paste with no preservatives or chemicals, we cannot guarantee uniform stain results due to factors such as water exposure, exfoliation, application of water-based products, stress, temperature, and activity levels. Aftercare guidance will be provided to help achieve the best possible stain.

We are not liable for damage to your clothing, property, or belongings, nor will we create designs considered offensive. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, or misuse of the information or materials provided.

By proceeding with the booking, you waive any claims against us for issues related to the service provided.

ALLERGIES & SKIN CONDITIONS

At ROUHI, we use only 100% organic, body art quality henna, which is generally safe for most skin types. However, because individual reactions may vary, it is important that you inform us of any existing allergies or skin conditions before booking. We reserve the right to refuse service and provide a full refund if necessary.

If you have sensitive skin, eczema, or any other skin condition, we recommend a patch test at least 6 weeks before your session to ensure the paste is compatible with your skin. Please consult your dermatologist if you have concerns about henna safety. For pregnant or breastfeeding clients, we advise opting for a pure lavender henna mix to minimise any risk of irritation.

Please note that we are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from the non-disclosure of allergies or skin conditions. If you experience any discomfort or an allergic reaction during or after your session, please contact us immediately so we can assist with the appropriate care and adjustments. While henna reactions are rare, your safety and comfort are our top priority.

FORCE MAJEURE

ROUHI is not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, strikes, or supply chain issues. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any service disruptions.

NO RELIANCE ON INFORMATION

Our content is provided for general information purposes only. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding its accuracy, completeness, or reliability in any circumstance. Always consult a professional for specific advice tailored to your situation.

THIRD PARTY LINKS & RESOURCES

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. ROUHI has no control over the content or operations of these external sites, and we are not responsible for any transactions or interactions with third-party vendors.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All our content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the exclusive property of ROUHI or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other relevant intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

ARTIST’S RIGHTS

All designs created by ROUHI are the intellectual property of the artist. We reserve the right to take photographs of the work for promotional, portfolio, and social media purposes. By booking a session, you grant us permission to use images of the henna designs created on your skin for these purposes.

We will not replicate or copy other artists' work but will create original designs based on your preferences. If you provide reference images, we will use them for inspiration, but the final design will be unique to you.

PRIVACY POLICY

ROUHI is dedicated to safeguarding your privacy. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we process any personal data we collect from you or that you voluntarily provide to us. By booking our services, you consent to this processing and confirm that all data you provide is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
